About Wildflower Online Wellness

At Wildflower Online Wellness, we believe therapy should feel like a place you can exhale- a space where you are truly seen, supported, and safe to be exactly who you are. We created this practice with the intention of making therapy more accessible, more human, and more inclusive. We are deeply committed to providing affirming care for all individuals, especially those who have felt unseen or misunderstood in traditional spaces. Here, you don’t have to shrink yourself to fit- you’re allowed to take up space. Our approach is down-to-earth, collaborative, and tailored to you. We integrate evidence-based practices like EMDR, Brainspotting, ACT, and DBT, while also honoring the importance of connection, intuition, and real-life experience. Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, and we believe your healing shouldn’t be either. Like wildflowers, growth doesn’t have to be forced- it happens when the environment is right. Our role is to help create that environment: one rooted in trust, compassion, and authenticity, where you can begin to reconnect with yourself and move toward lasting change.

Our Story

Wildflower Online Wellness was created from both shared passion and a blend of clinical experience and business insight.

Sarah Smith, LPC, began her work in the mental health field in eating disorder treatment, where she spent over six years supporting clients in higher levels of care. During that time, she developed a deep understanding of the complexity of healing- witnessing firsthand that recovery is not linear, and that meaningful change happens within safe, supportive relationships. This work continues to shape her approach today: compassionate, grounded, and deeply attuned to each individual’s experience.

After years in structured treatment settings, Sarah began to feel drawn to use that experience as the foundation for something more personal and accessible. She transitioned into private practice with the intention of bringing the depth, insight, and relational care she developed in higher levels of care into an outpatient setting- allowing her to tailor her approach to each client’s unique needs.

At the same time, Sarah Worthington brought a complementary skillset rooted in organization, systems, and a deep care for people behind the scenes. Having spent years in therapy herself, she understands both the vulnerability it takes to seek support and the importance of finding care that truly fits.

Together, as partners in both life and work, they built Wildflower Online Wellness with the intention of creating a space that feels warm, inclusive, and genuinely human.

Wildflower is more than a private practice- it’s a reflection of what we value most: connection, authenticity, and the belief that healing should be accessible to everyone. Every detail, from the way we communicate to the way we hold space, is intentionally designed to help clients feel safe enough to grow.

Our Clients

Our ideal clients are those who feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or weighed down by things they can’t always name- anxiety, old wounds, body image struggles, or the pressure of just getting through the day. They’re craving a space to feel seen, supported, and understood. They may not know exactly where to start, but they’re ready for change and want tools that feel practical and personal. They want a therapist who feels human, who listens without judgment, and who helps them move toward healing, growth, and feeling more like themselves again.

Many of our clients come in feeling unsure, carrying things they’ve held onto for a long time, or simply knowing they can’t keep doing things the same way. They don’t need to have it all figured out- they just need a place to begin. They value authenticity and want therapy that feels clinical and real, but not impersonal or distant. They’re open to learning more about themselves, even when it feels uncomfortable, and are willing to take small, meaningful steps toward change.

We have a particular passion for supporting individuals navigating disordered eating and body image concerns, offering care that is compassionate, non-shaming, and grounded in both experience and evidence-based practices.

We are especially committed to creating a safe, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ individuals. As our practice grows, we are intentional about who we bring onto our team- carefully vetting clinicians to ensure they align with our values and provide inclusive, evidence-based care. As employees of the practice, all are expected to follow these standards, ensuring that every client receives thoughtful, affirming, and scientifically grounded support.
